Donna Lyden

VP of Communications & Employee Engagement (Consumer Group), Verizon

Donna Lyden was appointed to lead Verizon's Corporate Employee Communications organization in 2011.

In this role, Lyden is responsible for engaging employees across Verizon in support of our corporate culture based on Verizon's Values and Credo. Her responsibilities include enhancing the rollout of Verizon's corporate-wide intranet and working with Verizon's executive team to create timely, effective and strategic messaging to employees.

Previously, Lyden had led the Employee Communications function at Verizon Wireless, where she was responsible for overall communication strategy, planning and execution of employee communications across the company.

Lyden began her career with Bell Atlantic Mobile in 1991 and served in various positions within Human Resources at Verizon Wireless, supporting a number of organizations including New York Metro Sales & Customer Service, Headquarters Staff Support and the Paging business.
